The South AfriCANS company are passionate about creating opportunties and using their talents and they're not going to let load shedding get them down. Instead, they knuckled down and created the Loadshedding braided Planter! It's a product they can make without any electricity, and they can sit on the sidewalk and enjoy the sunshine while being perfectly productive during load shedding. Adding this planter to their collection has also enabled them to create extra work for women in their community. They are made from 100% cotton rope. The cotton is grown locally in South Africa by farmers who are members of the Better Cotton Initiative (BCI). Mia Mélange Loadshedding Planters are handmade in Stellenbosch and variances may occur.
